All Ireland Scór Sinsear and Singing our National Anthem as part of the Munster Senior Hurling matches
Last month, I had the absolute honour to be a part of the adjudicaton panel for the All Ireland Scór Sinsear, and to sing Amhrán na bhFiann at two Munster Senior Hurling Championship matches in Walsh Park, Waterford.
Standing in front of nearly 12,000 spectators in-person, as well as those watching at home, and hearing everyone singing our national anthem together really emphasises our shared community pride and tradition that the GAA continues to nurture so powerfully. It’s moments like these that I will never forget!
I want to sincerely thank Margaret and Alan Whelan, Aedín Ni Bhriain, and everyone in the GAA and Walsh Park for their constant support and kindness. Your encouragement over the years has meant more than I can properly put into words.
I also want to continuously thank Scór na Mumham for their continued support and kindness. The opportunities, guidance, and kindness by every single person I have met as part of Scór has always been so appreciated.
Very proud to be part of an organisation that continues to celebrate and sustain our culture in such a meaningful way✨🎙️💙🤍
